One of the greatest activation I saw this week : Screen Donor by the Swedish agencies JMW and IVEO.
The principle is simple and comes from a clear insight : I want to contribute to a good cause but I don’t have the funds or the time for it.
This is why JMW and IVEO imagined a new app, Screen Donor, which with you can “donate your smartphone screen as advertising space for a charitable organization”.
Screen Donor was built in collaboration with Doctors of the World in Sweden : rather than allocate a large budget for a multi-channel, national campaign, Doctors of the World in Sweden partnered with JMW and IVEO in Stockholm to create the Screen Donor app. App users have their lock screens replaced with the organization’s logo and a message that roughly translates to “Hello! With us, everyone has a right to health care.”
